Long Time No See

So I realized it's been a while since I posted anything. School started for me and well, it's taking over my life (as it should), so I just haven't had the time to blog. Now that May is right around the corner things have slowed down a little bit and I've had a little more time on my hands.

Seeing as how I haven't written in a while (and named my post long time no see) I've decided to write about the four things I haven't done or seen in a while and hope to get to.

1. My Bedroom Floor

Yes, I am one of those people who have a hidden floor. Only part of it is hidden, though, so I guess I can say that that isn't too bad. However, a laundry basket of clean clothes spilling out onto the floor is probably not something anyone wants. Also a pile of notebooks and binders and pens and pencils sitting in front of my dresser has become an increasing annoyance, but that's what I get for being a writer.

2. Nature

I spent most of the winter inside, wrapped in a blanket, and doing schoolwork. We had a pretty chilly winter this year and it wasn't my favorite thing. Or I sat in an auditorium (which always felt like 30 degrees for the first hour of rehearsal) making sure all of the actors onstage (and offstage) were doing what they were supposed to do. So I didn't make it outside much. And now that warmer weather is finally beginning to arrive, I hope to get to the park and just take in the beauty of it all (and maybe get some drawing or writing completed).

3. My friends

Between schoolwork, play rehearsals, and my friends busy schedules I haven't spent much time with many of them. Complaining has occurred a lot and they swear they aren't mad at me (which I think is total bologna), so I hope to change that. For those of you who are thinking the same thing about yourselves (and it's totally okay), here's what I can offer as a solution:
A) If you're a girl and and all of your other female friends have been neglected, treat them to a group spa day at your house. You'll get to hang out, chat, and everyone will leave happy and relaxed.
B) If you're a guy, I can't really offer much of a solution as I fit into the category of letter A. What I can suggest, though, is do what it is you usually do with the guys
C) And if it's in the case of mixed genders (boy-girl friendships), you could go mini-golfing (it might be kiddish, but it's so much fun; plus who wouldn't want a little competition to make things a little more exciting and less awkward)

4. Art

I love art just as much as I love the theatre and writing. Drawing is something I've always loved and haven't had the time to work on recently. Painting is great too; however, it's just luck when something I've painted actually looks like something. Unlike drawing, you can't erase something you "mess up" or dislike about a painting unless you're an experienced artist (which I am most definitely not), so more often than not my paintings do not look that great. But I'm determined to change that too!

So that wraps up this post. Now it's your turn. What are four things you haven't done or seen in a while, but would really like to? Answer in the comments section under the post or on my google+ page!
