Family. Sometimes it can be a force of great strength. An impossible barrier to get passed when everyone's working together to accomplish a goal. Sometimes, though, family is a source of great pain. When one person breaks, the rest follow suit without choice. It's a large scale domino effect that could be impossible to overcome. You try your hardest not to let the cycle continue, but then something happens: one too many empty promises, one too many broken hearts, one too many criticsms, the list of possibilities endless. The inevitable occurs and you find yourself backed into a wall by the person you thought was always going to protect and love you unconditionally.
